As a scientist, I am an expert in the fields of immunology and virology, and I have been inspired in my work by Dr. Hanan Polansky’s discovery of the link between chronic viruses and chronic diseases, including cancer. In his book, Dr. Polansky explains, in a very clear way, how some viruses hijack our biological mechanism of gene transcription, and how this exploitation eventually leads to defective cellular functions, and chronic disease.
To protect us from these viruses, and other types of invaders, we have our immune system. This system includes different types of cells, which are circulating in our blood stream searching for the bad guys (bacteria, viruses, and even cancer cells). Many stress conditions, or even some drugs, can hurt our immune system, and cause a decrease in the number of those cells. A sharp decrease in our immune cells could expose us to infections, and also… as we learned from Dr. Polansky, to some dreadful diseases, such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
Lately I started taking a diuretic drug to control my high blood pressure. One of its known side effects is a decrease in the white blood cell count. As my doctor warned me, after taking the medication, a blood test showed that my blood leukocytes counts decreased to levels close to the lower end values. This product was a miracle supplement for my daughter! She was diagnosed with a very severe case of mono, which led to viral hepatitis (jaundice, enlarged liver, spleen & gallbladder). She spent 3 days in the hospital because she couldn’t keep anything down and was feverish. Being in her first semester of her freshman year at college, I was desperate to find something to help her since the Drs. told us 6-12 months recovery. She started taking Gene-Eden about a week after she was released from the hospital and felt much better immediately. It’s been only four weeks on the supplement and she is practically back to normal.
